Our Depot Partners
Our Depot Partners have made it possible for you to collect your raw milk. This is very much a collaborative service, so thanks for supporting our depot partners who champion local growers and suppliers like us.
Raw milk is highly regulated and can only be purchased directly from the farmer. Our Depot Partners handle the collection process in accordance to the regulatory guidelines. As a friendly reminder; by purchasing raw milk for collection, you agree to be a transport operator when signing for collection at the Depot. Follow the golden rules and everyone can continue to access their milk.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you buy raw milk at the Collection Depot?
NO! Sorry, all milk must be pre-purchased for collection in accordance with MPI’s Sale of Raw Milk legislation.
What’s the difference between your milk and others on the market?
At Three Oaks Organic, we gently low-heat pasteurize our milk to ensure safety while preserving the fresh taste and natural qualities that make our milk special. This minimal-processing approach helps maintain the integrity of the milk, delivering a clean, wholesome product that’s as close to nature as possible—straight from our farm to your table.
As a farm-direct producer, we oversee every stage of production—from farming and milking to processing, bottling, and retail. This gives us complete traceability and quality control, while allowing customers to know exactly where their milk comes from.
Glass bottles or Plastic bottles?
1L glass milk bottles are largely an imported product in New Zealand. We do have a manufacturing plant in Auckland, however they do not product 1L clear glass bottles for the dairy industry. Reducing the environmental impact of packaging and transport is therefore an ongoing area of research for Three Oaks Organic.
As part of our circular eco-ethos, we actively seek renewed uses for the packaging materials we choose. We collect returned packaging from our customers, which is washed and compressed before being repurposed. Through a partnership with a local manufacturer, these materials are given a second life with essential plastic products like farm posts and fibre & water pipe guards, supporting a more circular local economy.
How often are you audited?
We undergo annual third-party audits to maintain our USDA NOP organic certification, providing transparency and assurance that our farming practices meet rigorous organic standards. Additionally we are audited as a RCS Raw milk supplier, RMP audited for the manufacturing of pasteurised milk and yoghurt. Other audits are also conducted to verify ongoing compliance meet the standards as a supplier shareholder.
